A loan of $725 helped to buy a motorcycle.

Kenny's story

Kenny is 34 years old and completed primary school. He tells us that he was unable to finish his education due to a lack of financial resources and he started to work at a young age so that he could support his parents financially. After some years Kenny had his own family and he now has four children, all of whom are at different stages in their education. Kenny has worked in different areas, including agriculture, as a motorbike taxi driver and in construction. In this last work, he learned how to build homes and he now works as a builder and motorbike taxi driver. Kenny used his first loan to start a banana plantation and to buy the motorcycle that he currently owns. In recent weeks he was in a motorbike accident and it is now in a bad condition. As a result he needs to sell it but will not make enough money on it to cover the costs of buying another one. So, Kenny is applying for a loan to help pay for a new motorcycle, which would be one of his main sources of income.
