A loan of $2,600 helped a member to buy the missing items in his decoration equipment business.


Mloganzila Group's story

Juma, who is in his early 30s, is married and has three children, one boy and two girls. He has been selling decoration equipment for two years now. He works from 8.00 to 7.00 pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be Juma's fourth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy more advanced decoration equipment. He has paid back all his loans successfully. With his profit he bought a plot of land, paid school fees, covered household expenses, and started building his house. He will use this loan to buy the missing items in his decoration business. His dream is to one day be able to finish building his house.

He will use this loan with his loan group, Mloganzila, with 12 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
