Bendera's Group's story

Bendera is a 40-year-old mother of six children and is a businesswoman. She makes and sells mandazi, a local baked good, in the nearest trading centre. However, she does not have enough money to expand her baking business.

Bendera is planting a tree farm because she says, "KOMAZA is doing development and I also want to develop, just like my neighbors who have joined."

She intends to use the profits to educate her children and support them if they are accepted to a university some day. Bendera would also like to build a house for her family with the money from her tree farm.

In this group: Bendera, Chengo, Joseph, Zawadi, Karsichana, Kea, Chadi
