A loan of $1,450 helped to buy pigs and two cows.

Belkin Karina's story

Belkin Karina is a 24-year-old, single woman from one of the towns of Chinandega, located in the northwestern part of the country. She started working at a young age because her family had scarce financial resources. She was not able to finish her studies, because as the oldest child, she had to help her family make ends meet. With much hard work and determination to succeed, Belkin Karina was able to start her own business buying and selling pigs as well as selling milk, cheese, and sour milk.

In her free time, she likes to tour the natural beauty of her country with her siblings. One of Belkin Karina's dreams is to study a professional career and be able to help her family more. She is requesting this loan in order to buy some pigs and two cows.
