Miriam Elena's story

Miriam Elena, 38, married with three children, is from the district of Chinandega. She is a hard working, responsible woman who has had to fight since she was very young to get ahead and get food on a daily basis. In her free time she likes to listen to different types of music with her family. Thanks to her fighter spirit and her desire to get ahead she has a business selling merchandize such as new clothes, cosmetics, costume jewelry etc. She started this business six years ago. She sells her merchandise on the street as well as in her home. She has a daily routine of working eight hours a day. She takes great pleasure in her work since this has been the way of life for her and her family. The loan will be used to invest in working capital and stock her business for the buying and selling of merchandise and take advantage of the Easter season to offer products such as: shirts, gowns, bikinis, shorts, sandals and skin creams etc.. Currently she has all her products in credit accounts that she recovers weekly and quarterly.
