Metrine joined One Acre Fund during the Long Rains 2011, and is now enrolling in the Long Rains 2013 season. Metrine joined One Acre Fund so that she could gain access to best input prices of hybrid seed and fertilizer.

Metrine described her harvest as good last year, but believes she can have an even better one this year. She hopes that her profits from the 2013 Long Rains season can be used to send her children to school and save for the future. During the 2013 Long Rains season, each group member will receive ½ an acre of agricultural inputs on credit. Metrine’s group will receive 6 acres worth of inputs on credit.
