Mrs. Chan P. is a farmer in the Prey Vang province of Cambodia. Her husband is also a farmer, and together they earn about one dollar per day. The couple lives with five of their six children; three of whom are garment workers earning around $70 per month.

In order to enrich their farming business, the P.'s are seeking to borrow $1,200 in order to purchase a cow, beans and corn seeds to produce crops. They hope that these additional purchases will greatly help their farm to increase production.
