Shakila's story

Ms. Shakila is a 47-year-old vigorous lady. She has been stitching clothes for the past ten years. She stitches for the people of her community and uses the income to support her entire family. However, due to lack of availability of funds, she is unable to meet the daily demands of her customers. For this reason she requested a loan of 20,000 PKR from Kashf Foundation. She intends to use this loan to buy more spools of thread in different colors, along with packs of laces, zippers, and buttons. Her goal is to increase revenues so that she may generate more income. She is in her second loan cycle and is thankful to Kashf for its tremendous support.
