A loan of $1,850 helped to finance his second newly opened mobile money transfers shop.

Kafula's story

Kafula is grateful for the opportunity to get a second Kiva loan. He says the first loan helped him earn more profits because he was able to increase his working capital. The added working capital meant that Kafula could serve more customers who were coming to send and receive money from his shop.
The increase in his customer base encouraged Kafula to open his second mobile money transfers shop in Kanyama Township, a township located in Lusaka city.

Kafula is taking out a second Kiva loan so that he can have working capital at his new shop. He says the working capital that he has right now at his new shop is not enough to satisfy his new customers in Kanyama.

Kafula thanks the Kiva lenders for their support in improving and growing his business.
