Asif's story

Asif has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now he lives in Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border. Asif is 40 years old, married and has two children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. He wants his daughter to become a teacher of violin and his son to go into business. His daughter goes to school and his son goes to preschool. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income. This is Asif's second loan from Kiva. He started his taxi-driving business 10 years ago. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to repair his car because his car has broken down. He wants to use the money from his business to help his family. In the future, he wants to buy a new car because this car is old and uncomfortable for passengers. This will be more profitable for his business. He is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him again.
