Mrs. Hem R., 54 years old, lives in the Prey Ving province in Cambodia with her husband and four children. She and her husband sell rice to support their family. In addition, her children also work to support the family: two are garment workers; one is a blacksmith; and one also helps with the rice business. The Roeuns are now seeking to borrow $1,200 in order to purchase a small truck to transfer their rice in a more efficient manner. They hope this will help them grow their business and help them earn more profit.
