A loan of $400 helped to buy merchandise (clothing).

Carlos Alberto's story

Carlos is a 32-year-old man who lives with his wife and kids in the city of Pucallpa. He loves his family very much and they are his biggest motivation in life. Carlos is a kind, hardworking, and enthusiastic person. He and his wife dedicate themselves entirely to helping their family move forward. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship, Carlos had to begin working at a young age and was not able to study Business Administration like he hoped to do.

In his free time, Carlos likes to cook the delicious Arroz con Pollo (a typical Peruvian dish with chicken and rice) to share with his family. By his own initiative and with much dedication and determination, he works in gas station, serving the public. He works 10-hour days and believes that he has been successful thanks to the kind way he treats customers.

Carlos is grateful to Kiva lenders because this loan will help him to buy clothing such as polos, pants, shirts, blouses, and other items to stock the clothing shop he will open. In this way, he will continue working hard to achieve his dream of owning his own house.
