A loan of $775 helped to purchase printing ink and paper for a photocopier.

Clelia's story

53-year-old Clelia lives with her two children and her parents in a house she owns. Five years ago she decided to get a means of livelihood of her own. That's why she bought a photocopier and soon thereafter she rented a small space in the town centre. It is very close to several educational institutions and there she attracts a larger number of customers. Every morning she heads out to her store and makes copies according to the orders she gets, and that's how she earns the income that her family needs. She gets help from her children on occasion. She reports that what she likes about her work is that it's part-time and also very profitable. However, her equipment occasionally requires maintenance. Her goal is to own a more efficient piece of equipment which allows her to save time in providing photocopying services.
Clelia will use the 2000 nuevos soles to purchase paper sheets in units of one thousand and replenish the ink for her photocopier. In addition, she feels very glad to get financial support, which allows her to expand her business.
