A loan of $1,775 helped a member buy drinks, fruit, vegetables, meat, snacks, milk, etc.

Afortunadas Group's story

The group named Afortunada is from the city of Paraguarí, where they are all friends and neighbors. They came together to accomplish good, not only for themselves but also for their community. Today they are on their second loan and striving to get ahead.

One of the members is Erma. She says that she has a small grocery store within her house where day after day she gets up to work, starting very early in the morning. Erma dreams of eventually having a large business and being able to make the lives of her family more comfortable. She works on their behalf.

She is asking for this loan so she can buy drinks, fruit, vegetables, meat, snacks, and milk, among other things. These are the things that she sells the most and she wants to stock up well for her customers.

In this group: Liz, Liza, Johana, Carmen, Eugenia, Liz, Erma, Floria, Leopoldina, Ninfa*
