Kuña Mbarete Group's story

The group called Kuña Katupyry is in its first cycle. Its members are learning how to work together and help each other. In Guaraní, kuña mbarete means "strong woman", which all of these ladies are, since they fight tenaciously for their families in order to give them what they need.

Celia is President and feels she has a great responsibility to help and guide her fellow members because they have put their trust in her. Celia works as a seamstress and says she has a very good customer base, because she is known in the neighborhood for her excellent work and her customers are always satisfied.

She is requesting this loan to purchase fabric and thread in order to continue sewing and keep up her work.

In this group: Celia, Verónica, Sonia, Maria, Paublina, Rumilda, Celia, Ilda, Nidia, Nelida, Maria, Felicita, Norma, Rossana*, Nidia*
