A loan of $1,550 helped to buy a stall.

Jeen Joel's story

21-year-old Jeen is single and lives in the city of Pisco with his parents and siblings. Jeen is a very friendly, hard-working, enthusiastic person who has a great desire to improve himself. Through his own hard work, and with the support of his parents, he was able to study for a degree in Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys dancing and he sometimes cooks a delicious 'arroz chaufa' (fried rice) to share with his family. With a lot of hard work and commitment, and with the support of his mother, Jeen works in his own small food business where he prepares juices and sandwiches. He works around 8 hours every day and believes that his business is doing well because he is well known and treats his customers well. Jeen is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, he will be able to buy a small stall in the central market in his city. This will enable him to continue working and serving his customers. His biggest dream is to own a delicatessen.
