A loan of $825 helped to buy sugar, rice, beans, oil, etc.

Daysi Del Carmen's story

Daysi, 32, is a humble merchant who's from the Las Canoas region of Teustepe. She's single and the mother of two children, ages 10 and 14, who currently attend school. She has owned a grocery store for more than five years.

She started as a merchant with her own capital, her savings from buying and selling basic grains, a business that generated a lot of daily profits for her. Then she decided to convert it into a grocery store to earn extra income. She has the help of her children. She hopes to continue expanding and strengthening her business with new products to satisfy her customers' needs.

She needs the loan to buy sugar, rice, beans, oil, etc. She thinks this loan will help her stock her business with products she doesn't have yet.
