Ysabel's story

Ysabel, 54, is a single mother who lives with her 4 children in the house she inherited 10 years ago. Ysabel sells food out of her home - she has a restaurant where she cooks creole food and also typical local dishes in the afternoons. "I always have to change the dishes, because the customers get tired of the same old thing," she says happily. Her business is going very well, but since she is a woman of initiative she also raises pigs which she fattens for sale. Many people know her now and place orders. Her secret is in the animal feed, since she has a restaurant it's cheaper for her to prepare the animals' food every day. Now she wants to start a business buying and selling animals. She began with the acquisition of a bull that she will fatten and sell at a good price.

Ysabel will invest the 3000 soles in the purchase of ingredients like rice, meats, condiments and other products that she uses to prepare her delicious meals. She is grateful for the financial support that is given to help her achieve her objectives, and she promises to make her payments punctually.
