Firdovsi's story

Firdovsi has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now he lives in the Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border. He is 53 years old, married and has three children, a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son. His younger daughter goes to college, but his 23-year-old daughter is engaged. He wants his daughter to become a teacher, and his son to become an engineer. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income.

Firdovsi started his business eight years ago to raise cattle and to sell milk. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy calves to increase the amount of dairy products to sell at local bazaars. He wants to use the money from his new business to help his family, and to have weddings for his daughters.

In the future, Firdovsi wants to have a big farm for calves. This will be more profitable for his business. Firdovsi is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him again.
