Elshan's story

Elshan is 29 years old, married and has a child, a 4-year-old daughter. His daughter goes to preschool. He wants his daughter to become a biologist. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income.

Elshan has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now he lives in the Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border.

This is Elshan's first loan from Kiva. He started his new business 10 months ago to sell home goods for the kitchen. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy to buy utensils, dishes, cups, etc.

Elshan wants to use the money from his new business to help his family. In the future, he wants to have his own store, not renting a store as he is now. This will be more profitable for his business. Elshan is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him.
