Cythina's story

Cythina is 42 years old and lives in Kakata, the capital city of Margibi County, which has the highest production of rubber in Liberia. She is married with four children between 4 and 27 years old; only one lives at home and is in school. She was unfortunately unable to attend school.

She has been involved in business for the past 15 years, and presently, she is selling flour, salt, rice, oil, pepper, vita, onion and tomatoes in the local market. She started this business with 2,000 LD (Liberian dollars) given to her by her husband, and learned this trade from her mother.

She is requesting a loan to purchase more flour, salt, rice, oil, pepper, vita, onion and tomatoes for her business. Her future plan is to build a house.
