Ruth's story

Ruth is 29 years old and lives in Kakata Town, the capital city of Margibi County, which has the highest producing rubber plantation in Liberia. Ruth is single and has three children aged 4, 6 and 8. Her children are attending school and they all live at home. For the past 4 years she has been operating a shop where she sells palm oil. Sometimes she has few customers, but most of the time she makes a lot of profit. She is requesting a loan to purchase more palm oil for her business. In the future she hopes to expand her business.
