A loan of $950 helped to purchase grocery products for his business.

Mobark's story

Mobark is a 26-year-old single man who lives in Sana`a, Yemen.

He started his business by opening a small grocery store with a small amount of capital. He not only uses his business as a source of income but for social purposes such as helping the poor by providing them with lowest prices. Recently, Mobark's business has decreased, leading to a decrease in his profits. He has had to stop selling his product to poorer people, because of the current bad situation which Yemen faces.

He is requesting a youth loan of 200,000 YER from Kiva partner AMB, in order to purchase grocery products for his business. In this way, he hopes to increase his profits.
