Miriam Janeth's story

Miriam is asking for for her first loan from The Las Toquilleras Communal Bank. She has been invited to join this beautiful group by her colleagues and neighbors.

She lives in the Sigsig district. An area that boasts of natural beauty and is surrounded by several mountains and green fields. The architecture is a mix of old and modern, the people are friendly, gentle and have a big heart and they maintain their culture and traditions.

Miriam is 30, married and the fruit of this union is an eight year old son who studies at a local school. Her husband is a public transport driver and they own their house.

For the past 6 years, Miriam has worked Monday through Friday as a teacher and is very professional.

During her free time she sells costume jewelry, clothes and cosmetics out of her home to her friends, neighbors and colleagues.

She will use this loan to invest in new clothes and cosmetics to keep growing her business.

Her goal is to have her own store where she can sell her merchandise.
