A loan of $200 helped to purchase agricultural bags for the nursery, soil, and seeds.

Anita's story

Anita is 52 years old. She is married to Abel and they have a 19 year old daughter who is the main reason they strive day by day. In this way, they can offer her the best. The three live in their own home, built of quality material. Anita is engaged in selling agricultural crops. For this reason, she works on her small farm where she has installed a small nursery and there, she prepares all the crops that she produces. Her job is to properly prepare the soil used for filling bags where the seeds of citrus, ornamental plants, fruit trees, and others are later sown. The items that she offers for sale are used for ornamental purposes, for agricultural production on small farms, or for agro-forestry projects. She has been engaged in this activity for over five years and carries out her work with the help of her daughter and three additional workers.

She enjoys this activity because it allows her to have an income which she uses to help her husband pay the household expenses. She feels comfortable and happy because she is doing an activity that fascinates her. However, she dislikes the intense heat that often causes crop losses. In the future, she hopes to have a technified nursery where she can produce a larger quantity of products.

At this time, she is requesting a loan of S/. 500 soles. She is happy to have the financial support that she will have to advance her business and for this reason, she is committed to making her payments on time. With the amount requested, she will purchase agricultural bags for the nursery, soil, and seeds in order to continue performing her job.
