A loan of $1,500 helped to buy more tools to fill customer orders and meet demand.

José Osmar's story

José, 37, is married and has a son. Ten years ago, he learned to be a solderer as an assistant in a metal shop and has slowly perfected the skill. Before becoming a solderer, he was a traditional fisherman in the coastal area. He will use the loan he has requested from Fundación Campo to buy more tools to fill customer orders and meet demand. He needs more tools to make a variety of items to sell and increase his earnings. He would like to set up his business in his in-laws' house because he wants to be close to his family and because his wife is about to give birth to their second child. Most of all, he wants to have enough income to pay for the delivery costs and to buy his own home where he can live in dignity with his wife and children.
