Rakhim's story

Rakhim is 23 years old, married and has a child, a 1-year old son. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income. Rakhim has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now he lives in Fuzuli region, with his family, which is close to the occupied border. This is Rakhim's first loan from Kiva. He has been in the food and detergent selling business for a years. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy shampoo, soap, powder, butter, tea, rice, and flour, etc. Rakhim wants to use the money from his new business to help his family to raise his son. In the future, he wants to have big shop to sell food and detergent products. This will be more profitable for his business. Rakhim is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him.
