A loan of $225 helped to obtain working capital to process mobile phone credit sales and bill payment transactions on weekends.

Arif's story

Arif runs a small stall known as Daffa Cell where he sells snacks, drinks, and mobile phone airtime credits, and services bill payments for his customers. He is an entrepreneur and has three people living in his house including his six-year-old son. He joined Ruma a year ago because he wanted to expand to other business opportunities by selling mobile phone airtime credit. For the last three months, he has around $30 - $70 /day sales on average (just mobile phone airtime credit sales). As the business continues, he needs more working capital in order to be able to do transactions on weekends.
