A loan of $1,100 helped to pay for required improvements to his fast-food business.

Hernán's story

Hernán is 38 years old and describes himself as strong and enterprising. He says his business has grown thanks to his discipline and the many sacrifices he has had to make.

Eight years ago, Hernán started selling fast food from a mobile hot dog cart. At the same time he was also selling clothing. Seeing that his fast-food sales were taking off because no one else was selling similar products, Hernán decided to relocate to a permanent store in order to improve the quality of his service and gain more customers.

One month ago, the health department inspected his establishment and made some recommendations to improve food safety and hygiene. Hernán is requesting this loan to help pay for the required improvements and avoid having his business shut down.

Thanks to his business, Hernán has improved his family’s living conditions. His greatest dream is to continue to grow his food business and to open new locations in the near future.
