A loan of $825 helped to buy seeds, manure and fertilisers.

Francisco Javier's story

Francisco Javier is 64 years old and for more than ten years he has made a living selling forest and ornamental plants in his town. This work has generated enough money to support his family and pay for his children's education.
Even though his wife died a few months ago, Francisco says his biggest dream is to continue with the business as that is what she would have wanted.
Francisco loves the natural world and ever since he was a boy he has been learning about his work as he spent most of his life living in the countryside.
Francisco is currently applying for a loan that he will use to buy seeds, manure and fertilisers. His aim is to increase his sales and improve his living conditions.
He hopes to expand his business and to have the best nursery in town.
