A loan of $475 helped to buy mobile accessories and other items that customers have ordered from his business.

Abdullah's story

Abdullah is a 25-year-old single man and lives in Sana`a, Yemen. He sells cell phones, accessories, and cell phone chargers. He used his experience to start his own business in the town where he and his family live. Once he gained experience, he started his own business in a strategic location. He regrets not completing his studies, but he must earn money for his family in order to provide them a better life. Now, he hopes to continue expanding his working capital, which often is insufficient to meet the demand of his clients. This is exactly the reason he has come to AMB requesting a youth loan of 100,000 YER. He will use it to buy mobile accessories and other items that customers have ordered. In the future, Abdullah hopes to rent another shop and make it an electronics shop.
