Zipporah's story

Zipporah is a mother of four adult children and is involved in active farming in her rural home area in Central Kenya. Her farm produce, which includes tea, bananas, vegetables and milk is sold within the local market. In addition to farming, she runs a cereals retail business within the local market. Zipporah has requested a loan of 50,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy sheep.This she says will help her maximize her farming business and improve her living standards with the income generated. She believes she will eventually start a dairy farming business. She says her main challenges are pests and diseases.She is determined to fully use Juhudi Kilimo's loan facility.
