A loan of $1,000 helped purchase poultry manure and two cows.

Nancy's story

Nancy is 20 years old. She is single and doesn't have any dependents. She is currently living with her parents and attending the university. She also works in agriculture with her parents. They grow potatoes, beans, peas, corn and barley in the community of Plano Bajo-Tíraque which is located about 65 km from the city of Cochabamba. Nancy and her parents would really like to increase their agricultural production so they are requesting a loan to buy poultry manure to help them achieve a higher yield. They will also buy two cows to fatten, providing them with additional income.
