A loan of $1,450 helped to buy a dairy cow.

Manuela's story

Manuela is 62 years old, married, and lives with her husband in her own home. She did not get a formal education and she has no financial dependents. She works in farming for a living, growing potatoes and broad beans on her own land, which has an irrigation system and is located in the community of Uchuchi Cancha in the municipality of Tíraque, 70km from the city of Cochabamba. Manuela and her husband are hardworking and responsible people who want to better themselves. To that aim, they need a loan to buy a dairy cow, as they currently have three dairy cows that in the future will allow them to make more income and improve their quality of life.
