A loan of $400 helped to buy clothes, perfumes and photo frames.

Lisbeth's story

Thirty-three year old Lisbeth lives in the municipality of Baranoa. There she makes a living selling household items and clothes and internet communication services. Lisbeth started this four years ago, when she began selling items from specialised guides or catalogues, which she used to promote products. She sold her products for cash every day, from 8am until 8pm, to customers in the local area. Lisbeth's future goal is to increase her loans gradually so she can inject some working capital in the business and little by little expand it. Her dream is to see her children grow up to be successful and to invest in a good education for them. She is currently applying for a Kiva loan that she will use to buy clothes, perfumes and picture frames for her customers. She intends on taking full advantage of this investment.
