A loan of $800 helped to buy merchandise for her business: T-shirts, shirts and pants.

Betty Carmen's story

Betty is 35 years old and lives in Libertad.

She began selling a little merchandise with her aunt— in her neighborhood to her friends and family, but little by little became independent, until she began to sell on her own. She sells clothing every day from 9:30am until 11:00am, so there is time for her to go out again at 4:00pm until 6:30pm.

She has no problems in her work. She has a husband who works in construction, and they have three children, ages 14, 13, and 10.

With the loan she is going to buy merchandise for her business, such as T-shirts, pants, blouses, etc. She wishes to improve her quality of life.
