Jennifer's story

Jennifer, 20, is single and she lives with her parents and her siblings who are her main priority. With this loan, she plans to prepare the land in time before the first rains, in addition to purchasing fertilizers, fungicides, nursery plants and to pay for help to sow the coffee. The loan will also enable her to buy a few nursery plants to sow and to increase the plantation area, in addition to benefiting from the land's good fertility, climatic conditions and other conditions which are favorable to the cultivation of coffee.

It is through these improvements that Jennifer hopes to gain some profits and thereby improve her family's living conditions and also invest a bit more in the crop to achieve her aim of continue her studies. This is the first loan that she has received from FUDECOSUR. She has never had other loans from state banks, but FUDECOSUR gave her the loan with more ease and much lower interest rates.
