A loan of $775 helped to buy hens.

Rebeca's story

Rebeca is 42 years. She is married to Edilberto and she has a 10 year old son. They all live together with Rebeca's in-laws. Rebeca is a teacher. She works with adults, teaching them to read and write but she also makes some money raising hens. This she has been doing for seven years. She takes good care of the hens and is very determined to raise them and later sell them at the weekend. She chooses which ones she will sell and takes them to the local businesses. Rebeca has seen that this work has been a huge financial help for her family and it allows her to organise her own schedule. As a result she would like to continue this work so that she can grow financially. Rebeca will invest the 2000 Nuevo Soles in buying hens so that she can sell in bulk. Rebeca is very happy to have financial support as she has always shown herself to be responsible when it comes to repayments.
