A loan of $250 helped to buy sugar, baking flour, frying oil, cereals, etc.

Loice's story

Loice is a resident of Mariakani, Kenya. She is a married mother of six children and runs a food cafe which has been in operation for four years and employs one other person. She is also formally employed.

Loice was introduced to Milango by her friends and is asking for a loan of 21,100 Kenyan shillings to buy sugar, baking flour, frying oil, cereals, etc.

Despite the high level of competition, Loice believes she can save enough extra income for the education of her children, provide a means of income to the other employees, and also use part of the money to open a larger cafe.
