A loan of $700 helped to buy mobile phones and accessories for resale.

Souleymane's story

Mr. Souleymane, age 25, is single without children. He lives in his father’s home in Bougouni, in the district of Faraba. After his studies, Souleymane remained unemployed for several years. All his expenses were covered by his father. He decided to attempt commercial activities. With a bit of help from his father, he started to buy and sell mobile phones and accessories, a business that he learned from a friend. With five years of experience, he now has a good command of his activity.

To maintain a steady working capital, he is seeking a new loan with the Soro Yiriwaso MFI, to which he was introduced through his father. He will use the credit to buy 18 mobile phones of various brands, and a variety of accessories (skin cases, batteries, chargers). This is his second loan with Soro
Yiriwaso. The first one was correctly repaid.

Souleymane buys his stock in Bamako, the capital of the Republic of Mali. With this loan, he expects to earn a monthly profit of 50 000 FCFA. He plans to expand his business, to help his father with the household expenses, and to pay the loan interest.
