Leopard Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 40-year-old Tendai from Masvingo. She is a widow with two children, both attending school. She also cares for two dependents. Tendai runs a retail business selling clothes, shoes and DVDs. The business has been in operation for 10 years. She says the main challenge faced is debtors failing to pay on time. Tendai has requested a loan of $300 to buy clothes, shoes and DVDs. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to increase her income, hence improving the family welfare. In the future Tendai plans to open another flea market table to increase outlets to sell from.
