A loan of $2,100 helped to purchase cattle.

Kunduz's story

Kunduz is 29 years old and is raising four children. In search of income for her family, 10 years ago Kunduz started her business raising and reselling livestock, starting with the purchase of one milk cow. Kunduz sells milk and dairy products such as ayran (a yogurt beverage), sour cream and farmer's cheese at the local market. Today, her holdings include 40 cows, 2 horses and 30 sheep. This business allows Kunduz to earn around 15,000 som (KGS) per month. In order to further grow her business, Kunduz turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of livestock. Kunduz plans to invest her earning into further increasing her livestock count. In the future she hopes to provide her children with a quality education.
