A loan helped to purchase building and insulation materials such as fiberglass, cement, bricks, and planks to repair his house.

Nasanbat's story

Mr. Nasanbat, 38 years old, lives with his family in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The family resides in their own house on a plot of land.

His wife has been working as a saleswoman at a private business entity since 2008. He has been rendering taxi service to local people for six years, and has accumulated a vast amount of experience in this field, such as knowing where to pick up customers, and which road is quicker to reach the desired destination.

The house the family lives in has been deteriorated over the years, and needs some serious repair as well as insulation. Because of the vulnerable house door, the family freezes down to their cores, and frosts forms around the side of the door.

Nasanbat is requesting a loan of 1,500,000 MNT to purchase insulation and building materials such as fiberglass, bricks, cement, and planks. As a result, the family will live in a comfortable and warm place, and burn less coal thus contributing to the efforts against air pollution.

The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
