A loan of $550 helped a member to buy a decent motorbike for commuting in her family.

Saret's Group's story

Saret, 48, lives in a rural village in the Kror Kor district. She has three children, one of whom is still in school. She and her husband are rice farmers, and she has been in this business for 28 years. She is able to earn about 25,000 KHR per day to meet the family’s needs. Saret has been with VisionFund for five cycles. The past two loans, which she has repaid, have helped her relieve the financial burden and improve her livelihood. The group is now requesting a new loan. Saret, the group leader, will use her portion to buy a decent motorbike for commuting in her family. She hopes this loan will enable her to have a decent motor to use.
