A loan of $1,675 helped a member to purchase corn flour, cheese, condiments and other ingredients.

Costa Pucu Group's story

The twelve members of this group have various businesses. All of the women work hard to get ahead because they want to be able to help their families through their efforts and avoid having to experience the difficulties of the past.

Sra. Pablina is part of this group and serves as its president. She notes that she always tries to encourage other members of the group and help them get ahead. She, herself, earns a living by making and selling “chipas,” (traditional Paraguayan food). Her business enables her to help her family and to get ahead.

She is requesting this loan to purchase corn flour, cheese, condiments and other ingredients so that she can continue to work and to serve her customers
