A loan of $425 helped to buy bricks, cement, galvanized metal, and sand, and to pay for labor.

Ana Cecilia's story

Ana Cecilia is from the municipality of El Sauce. She has worked as an elementary school teacher in a school in a district outside of this municipality for 24 years. This work has allowed her to support her two school-aged children by herself. She is a very straightforward and hard-working woman, who has been able to get ahead without the help of the father of her children. Through her colleagues at work, she heard that Ceprodel finances loans for low-income people who need them to improve their homes, and that there are some investors in other countries who provide the funds. For this reason, she presented herself for the first time at that office to apply for a loan, because she currently needs to construct a concrete tank to store water, since in her village there are many water outages. She will use the loan to buy bricks, cement, galvanized metal, and sand, and to pay for labor. She is confident that these good-hearted investors will finance her request so that she can carry out her investment.
