A loan of $350 helped to buy clothes, dyes and make up, among other things.

Tania Olimpia's story

Tania, 24, is an enterprising young woman that lives in the city of Estelí. She has two children, and despite her being a single mother, she has been able to get ahead with her job and be her family’s support. Tania owns a beauty salon. She used the first loan she received to buy supplies like dyes, beauty products, accessories, make up, nail polish and perfumes. It helped her to stock her business, take good care of her customers and make good profits.

One of Tania’s projects is to start a small clothing store. This is why she is requesting a loan to buy clothes, dyes, make up, etc. She wants to expand her business step by step, improve her children’s quality of life and give them access to a good education.
