A loan of $275 helped to buy corn, firewood, and lime.

Maria Jose's story

María is an enterprising, honest, and serious young person. She lives with her two children and siblings in the south of Honduras. Her business is selling tortillas.

María needs the loan to buy corn, firewood, and lime. With the loan she hopes her business sales will increase and she'll have more merchandise to sell to her customers and cover their needs and so improve her economic situation.

María hopes that in the short term her business will continue growing and getting stronger and become the biggest, most profitable, and best known in her community. She also hopes to continue supporting her children and siblings so they become honest people with principles and values.
