A loan of $575 helped to buy chickens and egg laying hens.

Blanca Inés's story

Blanca is 58 years old. She is married and the mother of two children. Her life has been marked by difficult financial situations, because her husband is ailing and she has to pay for the household expenses. Blanca has been described as a woman who is a fighter who throughout her difficulties has always found a way to get ahead. Since she takes care of her husband, this woman decided to sell eggs and chickens. This allows her to generate income, care for her husband's health, and do the household work.

Her biggest wish is to improve her income and guarantee her family a dignified life. She wants to be able to become a great businesswoman and distribute her products to different businesses in her community. That requires increasing her production capital and that is why she is asking for a loan to invest in buying chickens and egg laying hens.

She hopes that her husband recovers and that together they will fight to reach their biggest dream: becoming micro-business people.
