A loan of $1,075 helped to repair his barn and to purchase livestock feed.

Sherali's story

Sherali is a young, active man. Despite his age, he knows everything about raising livestock. He fattens and breeds cattle. Sherali has three cows and six sheep. His wife milks the cows which provide fresh and delicious milk. She sells this milk and uses the income to pay for the everyday expenses of their young child. Livestock is one source of income for Sherali, but he also repairs automobiles to cover his family's expenses. Presently, he has run out of feed for his livestock. He also wants to make repairs to his barn in the spring and summer to prepare a place for his animals. For this, he needs additional funds. After finding out about Arvand's services, he decided to take out a loan in order to move forward with his plans. He hopes for support from Kiva and is grateful for the assistance.
